Who We Are

Established in 1984, MACROVITA specializes in the design, formulation, development and production of natural cosmetics, combining carefully selected vegetable oils, plant extracts, bee-derived ingredients and natural vitamins.

In 1998, MACROVITA introduced its first cosmetics featuring olive oil as an active ingredient. Since then, the range has continued to evolve and expand, with products sold through pharmacies and organic stores in Greece and available in several international markets.

In 2006, responding to the specialized needs of the natural beauty market, MACROVITA introduced MACROVITA – OLIVE·ELIA, a collection of natural, olive oil-based beauty care products that upholds the brand's established standards of quality and reliability.

The name MACROVITA combines the Greek prefix "macro," meaning great or large, with the Latin word "vita," meaning life. The logo also incorporates the well-known Asian symbol of yin and yang, representing physical and mental balance.

This philosophy brings together the wisdom of Greek-Roman and Far Eastern traditions with modern scientific research, technological innovation and a contemporary respect for the natural world.

OLIVE·ELIA — Inspired by the Olive

The name OLIVE·ELIA combines the English word "olive" with the Greek word "elia" (ελιά), meaning olive. It reflects the collection's Mediterranean heritage and its focus on the beauty-enhancing properties of olive oil.
